There was a huge problem at the end when something happened that made Teddie believe that Manny had betrayed her I was angry at her for believing that when she should have known better I ached for Manny and how her accusations hurt him and didn t blame him too much for lashing out Their big moment at the end was sweet and romantic I enjoyed the reactions of those around them. In the Bodyguard's armsjoy The action and suspense started as soon as Manny arrived at Teddie s hideout The stalker had found her and Manny s arrival thwarted the man s attack The escalation of the man s actions throughout the book kept me on the edge of my seat as I waited to see what would happen next I liked the teamwork of the whole crew as they worked together to find out who the stalker was There were times that I wanted to shake Teddie for her stubborn refusal to believe what Manny tried to tell her She also made some stupid decisions that put herself and others in danger The final confrontation was intense as the truth was uncovered and the team tried to get to Teddie in time. In the Bodyguard's armsan a620 I admit to being a little disappointed in the team s attempts to keep Teddie safe There were too many times when the stalker actually succeeded in getting his hands on her I did like how Teddie kept her wits and fought back.

Book In the Bodyguard's arms summary It s a very well written book with lots of suspense as the stalker ups his game and there s a sense of danger for both Teddie and Manny as they cross the line from client and bodyguard to lovers Manny is a great hero and if anything Teddie is a little too stubborn to believe his theory that the stalker is someone she knows she assumes its an obsessed fan of her career it s almost heartbreaking how she treats Manny at times as he s clearly talking a lot sense than she is willing to believe. Book In the Bodyguard's arms summary The final nail in the coffin was the arbitrary silly mention that Cooper and members of his family have premonitions of something bad happening Keep the supernatural out of my romantic suspense stories please This was fast paced but I didn t enjoy it I was getting too frustrated and distracted by all the characters constant relentless dumb idiot moves that were only there to service the plot Don t keep telling me these bodyguards are the best in their business when their actions clearly contradict this time and time and time again That s it from me for the Romantic Suspense line for a little bit Maybe onto a standard thriller Probably featuring a girl woman mother daughter wife widow sister with a horrible secret in her past In the Bodyguard s Arms Bachelor Bodyguards 7 I m obsessed with anything about a bodyguard falling in love with his clientso when I found this book at the store I had to read it and it was a good read If you are looking for a quick romantic suspense read I recommend it my only gripe with this book is that Jason and the company he worked for wasn t really a GOOD Bodyguard I don t know how many times Teddie got hurt under his protection LOL But nonetheless their chemistry was cute and I m a sucker for epic LOVE In the Bodyguard s Arms Bachelor Bodyguards 7 It was a fun yet quick read I gave it a 4 but really a 3. In the Bodyguard's armsel protecta Manny is one of Cooper s Marine buddies who has come to work with him He s a big man a bit rough around the edges and honorable to the bone He also avoids relationships believing that because of his family history he is not a good bet. In the Bodyguard's armsan a620 I enjoyed the way that Manny ended up with this assignment Having watched previous bodyguards fall in love with the women they ve been assigned to protect he adamantly refuses to take the job protecting the model Instead he insists on taking the one for Ted not realizing that they are the same He was not happy when he arrived at his destination and discovered the truth What made it even fun was that Manny had once had a poster of Teddie and a bit of a crush on her From the moment they met there was no doubt about the strength of the attraction between them Both have good reasons to resist Teddy has been betrayed in the past by people she has gotten close to and feared that it could happen again For Manny besides the fact that Teddy is a client he also sees a huge difference between him as a bodyguard and her as a supermodel But fate will not be denied I enjoyed seeing them get to know each other and find that there were some things that they had in common It was sweet to see how Manny s protectiveness became very personal very quickly Teddie also became protective of Manny and worried about the stalker going after him There were a couple of times when Manny got spooked by the strength of his feelings a pulled back but that didn t last long However buying her the time for help to arrive I was also a bit angry at Cooper s attitude near the end and his reluctance to believe that Manny was right It was satisfying to see Manny proved right and the team s support I liked that Cole had believed in Manny even if he was skeptical about Teddie I m looking forward to reading Cole s story especially with the hints that have been dropped about his past In the Bodyguard s Arms Bachelor Bodyguards 7 In the Bodyguard s Arms by Lisa Childs is the seventh book in the Bachelor Bodyguards series It blends romance suspense and action well Teddie Plummer is a supermodel with a stalker She has hired the Payne Protection Agency to guard her and hopefully catch the stalker Jordan Manny Mannes takes the assignment. PDF In the Bodyguard's armstrong This book has instant attraction between the two main characters that developed too fast for me Of course that doesn t mean either of them wants a relationship Both Teddie and Manny are well developed characters and both have flaws rooted in trust issues.
