Ms Myers has written a story that defines the romantic suspense genre Romance Michelle hasn t had it easy growing up as a foster child and distrusts the law to be there when she needs help That when the one person in her life dies in a way she deems suspicious she tries to infiltrate a cult her sister was previously in to find out what really happened It seems thought she has gotten on the wrong side of the cult leader though and he made some threats he planned to follow through with Now her child is missing and she might actually have to turn to Ranger Ethan to find her child and protect her. Missing in Blue mesazza This was another instance where I didn t read up on the book All I was placing this choice on the publisher that has rarely ever let me down and the fact that it was a intrigue book If I would ve known that this book featured a cult I wouldn t have picked up this book I already had the book in my possession and was already in deep to want to put this book down I loved that this short book managed to pack a punch of plenty going on.

She is escaping a guy who is beating her and faints in the arms of the Fed I hated this book I hated the notion that being a wrongly accused teen would result in this convoluted tough hard to love human being so enter a emotional guy who is grieving his fathers death and looking for someone to fix because his mother is grieving but trying to navigate her new husband less existence Just awful imagine finding fault in your mother because she s trying all the things denied her while her husband was alive Just awful Romance

Missing In Blue Mesa is mesmerizing with the intriguing investigation and compelling with the rough beginning of the life the heroine had survived It has a perfect balance of exciting heart pounding action vigorous investigation and fiery sensual passion that yes came a bit as a surprise as it hits the hero and heroine like a hammer and takes over them But the emotions raging were believable with the wide range from sweet and tender to protective to the sexy and wild Michelle Munson is one tough lady She is a fierce protector of her son she would do anything for those she loves but unfortunately the number of people deserving of her loyalty and devotion has been low all her life Growing up in the system she was falsely accused of the unthinkable As a young girl facing alone the world and their judgment she learned not to trust anyone never show emotion to keep her distance to take what you can where you can within any method She was not the favorite people thought of her as selfish and difficult yet there was a tender broken heart inside of her looking for acceptance love loyalty someone she could trust and who would trust her believe her and in her From the first moment Michelle and Ethan Reynolds meet the sparks fly despite the danger she is in and the near escape she had just made Ethan is a good solid man He loves to take care of others to protect them to make life easier for them by serving them to best of his ability He is trying to learn the new frame to his life and to his relationship with his mother after his father s passing and the little wild a lot of unpredictable and fiercely independent Michelle walks right into his heart and takes space It is always a delight to watch a good man fall and fall hard and Ethan is not even trying to hide his devotion to Michelle and her son Hunter. Book Missing in Blue mesa library The action often turns brutal bloody and personal The investigation is intense to the missing baby case and the other problems that bloom around the investigation and around the town The constant unbalance of the situation with the Family and Daniel Metwater is escalating into an up close and personal life and death battle There is one book coming in the series and I can t wait to indulge in it since the mastermind is still at large even though this book did get a very satisfying conclusion I would think this novel could be read as a standalone story but to get insight into the Family and the tension between Daniel Metwater and the Ranger Brigade I highly recommend to read the whole series and prepare yourself to the finale next month A captivating story that is hard to put down an engaging tale that got me emotionally involved I read the book at one sitting going through the emotions biting my nails with the tension and fear smiling and sighing with the adorable romance and screaming at the screen of my Kindle when they blunder and take the wrong turn Loved it Five Spoons Romance Very good book The action and suspense began immediately Michelle aka Starfall joined the Family as a way to find proof that Metwater and his brother murdered her sister As the book opens she has snuck into his motorhome looking for that proof Her determination leaps off the page as does her fear when Metwater discovers her As she escapes his violent attack on her she literally falls into Ethan s arms. Missing in Blue mesaoa Michelle is very wary Her experiences with law enforcement have not been good and she doesn t trust them She has built up a hard shell of independence and standoffishness When her nine month old son goes missing she turns to Ethan and the Rangers for help She is stunned when he actually believes her claims in spite of Metwater s attempts to discredit her I loved the strength that she developed over the years and her determination to take control of her life and give Hunter the life she didn t have. Book Missing in Blue mesa book Ethan is a great guy He s protective and caring and lives to make things easier for those he cares about There are some great scenes with his mom as both learn to deal with life without his father His protectiveness runs up against his mom s growing independence and he s a bit clueless about how to handle it I loved watching Michelle try to explain things to him. Book Missing in Blue mesalamine There were sparks between Ethan and Michelle from the beginning Though wary at the start it doesn t take long for Michelle to realize that Ethan is one man that she can trust I loved seeing her hard edges soften a little as she gives up a bit of her fierce independence and allows him to take care of her She slowly discovers that relying on someone for help doesn t make you weak but instead can make you stronger For Ethan Michelle quickly became than just a case to him I loved how he struggled a little to balance his protectiveness with her independence but there was no doubt in him that she had found her way into his heart The ending was sweet with his confession and her response. Missing in Blue mesayon The suspense and action in the book were great Over the course of the series we have seen Metwater s mask start to slip His attack on Michelle and his threats against her son were chilling Of course this makes him the prime suspect when Hunter disappears The Rangers efforts to find Hunter build in intensity as the leads they uncover point closely to Metwater s involvement From the rescue of Hunter to the confrontation with Metwater I was on the edge of my seat as Ethan and Michelle battled for their lives I can t wait for the next book and to see how it all turns out Romance Vanished into thin air Intrigue abounds from the start as we are brought into the fold quickly to realize the heroine is pretending to be something she s not in order to find info on what happened to her sister She s taking daring chances and it comes back to bite her early in the book If you ve read any of this series previously you will recognize the cult they are investigating as well as some of the other task force cops The story was exciting and the characters easy to connect with Looking forward to the next book in the series When Michelle Munson joins Daniel Metwater s cult of happy followers she has a goal in her sights She plans to find proof that he and or his brother murdered her sister and somehow made it look like an accident She knows she s gotten too close when Daniel catches her doing some sleuthing and shortly after her infant son comes up missing Task force member Ethan Reynolds and his team have had their eyes on Metwater s goings ons for awhile and are eager to have an inside source to things that might be going on in that camp When Michelle comes to him for help after her son is taken they tentatively agree to help each other Close quarters lead to strong attraction but she doesn t trust cops so can he actually convince her that he s an okay guy Romance So the character Starfall from previous books is actually Michelle Munson and she s undercover at the cult led by Daniel Metwater because she believes his dead brother David killed her foster sister Is there anybody at this cult who isn t undercover Sheesh This is now the 5th book in the mini series and this plot is getting a bit tired Michelle thinks Daniel is in possession of her sister s locket She goes looking for it and is caught by Daniel who gives her a right beating At first she won t tell Ethan Reynolds from the Ranger Brigade the truth fearing for her son s safety That changes when her son goes missing Despite the now overly familiar plot of somebody undercover at the cult this is definitely an improvement over the previous book It s a fast paced tale and further reveals the nastier components of Daniel Metwater s personality hopefully setting things up for an exciting final book Michelle feels a bit like a different person to the Starfall character we saw in the other books who was much underhanded and abrasive than she was here The final third was quite exciting as the action really ramped up A full star off for the fact that Michelle is initiating sex with Ethan mere hours after her son has gone missing That was just gross How on earth could you be in the mood It pops up all the time in romance books and it totally befuddles me However I m looking forward to the next book Cindi Myers has delivered a mostly above average mini series here with each individual book able to stand on its own whilst still contributing to the overall storyline Romance I have to be honest I didn t know it was a serial and may have been why I hated it And I hated it with a ferocity I usually reserve for politics Not only is the female lead dumb as a pocket of loose change but her knight in shining armour is horribly ineffective as an FBI agent They meet as she is fleeing for her life from a beat down Seriously Michelle Munson infiltrates the cult led by Prophet Daniel Metwater Having endured a tough life in foster care she s fiercely independent and distrustful of police But when her baby disappears she knows she s come too close to learning Metwater s secrets and turns to Ranger Ethan Reynolds for justice Facing down harrowing danger in Colorado s wilderness the resolute lawman fights to protect Michelle and open her heart From Harlequin Seek thrills Solve crimes Justice served For action packed stories check out the other books in The Ranger Family Secrets Book 1 Murder in Black CanyonBook 2 Undercover HusbandBook 3 Manhunt on Mystic MesaBook 4 Soldier s PromiseBook 5 Missing in Blue MesaBook 6 Stranded with the Suspect Missing in Blue Mesa The Ranger Brigade Family Secrets 5.
