The story was an emotional roller coaster ride as we listened to the audiobook Ms Kari Trumbo brings her characters to life and allows the reader or listener to become immersed in this tale It will have Frances the Englishman Constance and Clive touring areas of Rapids so she can possibly experience life and romance for her story and for Clive to have his article for Mr Marksman But it doesn t take long for Clive to become concerned about Frances s well being and develop feelings of protection but could it be Frances believes that Clive and Constance are becoming an item and that saddens her but her goal on this trip is to find a way to publish her book and if going on outings is the answer she will do so I loved the dialog characters interaction and realism of this tale It has the good the bad and the ugly of life and people but it also offers hope and a future with patience The story is a clean godly based historical western without curse words or intimate scenes It does have a happy ending and can read well as a stand alone Letters as pen pals didn t prove to be the same as life Yes Constance talked about Reginald and how she knew they would marry but he turned out to be a cad Her family proves less than charitable to Frances Clive learns what matters is not the next story which will be here today and gone tomorrow but people feelings and the future Has he realized what he needs to chase after is not a story but Frances and that she is his future Kindle Edition Frances Arnsby has always loved to read and she was determined to get her manuscript published She travels to Rapid City to visit with Constance a girl her age she has been corresponding with to stay for three weeks First Constance ends up being nothing like her letters and is so self absorbed Then Frances marches right into the local newspaper and ends up at the desk of reporter Clive Davidson He reads her story and tells her she needs to experience life to make the characters believable He agrees to help her and the adventure begins Meghan Kelly is an amazing narrator She brings just the right amount of emotion and different voices for the characters to make them come alive Combined with Kari s wonderful writing it makes for a book I never wanted to end Loved it Kindle Edition

Meghan Kelly immerses herself into this book but it can be read as a standalone I absolutely loved this story It is one of my favorites by this author I was captivated by Frances story from the first pages and thoroughly enjoyed following her quest to get her romance novel published The experiences she shared with Clive on this journey definitely kept me reading to see what could possibly happen next I was given a copy of this book by the author but a favorite review was not required The opinions expressed are my own and this is another wonderful read from this author that I definitely recommend Kindle Edition Love finds a happy ending when least expected Romance in Rapid is the fourth book in the Seven Brides of South Dakota Series When the unexperienced Frances goes on a date with a rich socialite for a newspaper reporter she finds what men can be like What she finds is that men are not what they appear and that love can develop when you don t expect it Clive the reporter sees a woman that needs to learn how to feel and experience romance However his actions to help her turned around to opening up himself to love with a woman that he shouldn t want Love stories can be rewritten and give us all the love and happy ending that we all desire A wonderfully written story with romance hardships action and tragedy I had a hard time putting down as it was a one of a kind and captivating story I couldn t get to the end fast enough to see if love would win out The characters are well developed engaging and realistic It is easy to connect with the characters They aren t perfect they have their flaws just like you and I do This makes the characters realistic and easy to connect to They will quickly become like one of your friends neighbors and family I will definitely continue to read the series to see what happens with the rest of the characters Kari Trumbo is a talented author that gets better and better She has a gift for writing entertaining and sweet stories I have read several books by her and have not been disappointed yet She has quickly become one of my go to authors that I really enjoy reading I recommend this book and series to anyone that enjoys reading a clean western romance with a delightful ending This book is part of a series however it is a stand a lone If you are looking for a good series than Seven Brides of South Dakota is a great place to start Kindle Edition This was a really fun read I really loved her style of writting her hopes are dashed when her manuscript fails to connect She hasn t lived enough Her dream will be over before it even starts if she doesn t add life love passion Chief reporter Clive Davidson is intrigued by the vibrant woman submitting her work to the paper But when his plan to help goes horribly wrong he must decide if teaching her about romance is worth the risk to his career and his heart As Frances enters a world of upper crust dalliances and deception she discovers that perhaps Clive was right all along romance in the stories are just that fiction Her career means the world to her but if she can t learn what true love really means it could cost than she ever thought possible Romance in Rapid Seven Brides of South Dakota Book 4 .
